Hi – I’m Sue,
Wearing glasses has always something that I planned to avoid. The expense, the inconvenience. No thanks.
Swimming, skiing, snorkelling, horseback riding… all the different activities that are that bit more trouble when wearing glasses.
Now that I am in my 50’s, it is fabulous to still be free of spectacles.
What I do to remain this way
I use the special chart in the ‘Read Without Glasses’ programme and relax whilst using it. The Better Vision programs are designed to help a number of different eye conditions. Middle-aged vision and myopia, being the most common problems. Along with palming, being careful not to sit staring at my computer screen or television too long and practising diverging and converging my focus on any straight lines that I notice (window frames, tall trees…) my vision has remained very good.
I also pick up one of my 3D Magic Eye images and relax for a few minutes. I love using the magic eye images to converge and diverge my vision. It is so relaxing to ‘drift away’ within the images… Have you used Magic Eye images?
I believe we need to teach our children to relax their vision and take care of their eyes as well. It is something that could easily be taught at home and in schools.
Take care of your vision!
